Dirinya lahir di Tripoli, Lebanon, 16 Juli 1981.Karena suaranya yang khas membuat Maher Zain disukai banyak orang hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya penggemar di halaman facebooknya, dirinya pun menjadi bintang dalam musik islam modern.
Lagu Baraka Allahu Lakuma ini merupakan salah satu single dari album studio pertama milik Maher Zain. Album yang berisikan 13 single dan 2 single tambahan ini dirilis pada 1 November 2011 dengan judul “Thank You Allah”.
