LABVIRAL.COM- Goodbye ini dinyanyikan sekaligus dipopulerkan oleh aktris sekaligus penyanyi asal Indonesia, yaitu Ayunda Faza Maudya atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Maudy Ayunda. Maudy ayunda lahir di Jakarta, 19 Desember 1994.
Maudy Ayunda memulai karirnya pertama kali dalam film Untuk Rena pada tahun 2006. Sedangkan untuk karir musik, maudy mulai merilis album pertamanya pada tahun 2011 dengan judul Panggil Aku..
Lagu Goodbye ini merupakan salah satu single dari banyaknya single karya Maudy Ayunda yang dirilis pada tahun 2019. Lagu ini bercerita tentang salam perpisahan dirinya kepada orang-orang terdekatnya di Indonesia.
Mengingat Maudy ingin meneruskan pendidikan S2 nya di Universitas Stanford, Amerika Serikat. Jadi, sebelum berangkat dirinya merilis lagu Goodbye ini meskipun sebenarnya Maudy tidak ingin merilisnya sebagai single. Namun, mengingat keadaanya yang relate dengan lagu tersebut membuat Maudy merilis lagu tersebut.
