LABVIRAL.COM- Lagu yang sempat menduduki tangga tiktok dengan mengusung lagu kesedihan seseorang yang pergi tanpa memberikan sebuah penjelasan.
Lagu Before You Go yang dinyanyikan oleh Lewis Capaldi ini dirilis sebagai single dari edisi diperpanjang album studio debutnya Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent.
Album ini mencapai nomor satu di Irish Singles Chart pada bulan November 2019. Ternyata Lewis Capaldi merancang lagu ini ga sendirian, dia ditemani oleh Ben Kohn, Pete Kelleher, Phill Plested, dan Tom Bames.
Lagu Before You Go sendiri memiliki durasi sekitar 3:36 menit, lirik Before You Go sendiri digambarkan sebagai “trek emosional”. Sebenarnya lagu ini dibuat untuk mengenang sang bibi, bibinya tak mengungkapkan semua rasa sakit dan bebannya kepada Lewis Capaldi.
Pada akhirnya bibinya bunuh diri karena tidak kuat menahan semuanya, coba saja sang bibi cerita kepada Lewis. Mungkin hal ini tidak akan terjadi, lagu ini memang dimaknai tentang lagu percintaan bagi para pendengarnya.
