Tanpa kita sadari isi dari lirik Dance Monkey ini bercerita pasca pengalaman pribadi sang vokalis yang dulunya seorang pengamen selama 8 tahun. Kata Dance Monkey diambil dari metafora yang berarti seorang pengamen jalanan, seperti atraksi topeng monyet yang menari dijalanan.
