LABVIRAL.COM- Lagu protes asal Irlandia yang dibawakan oleh band rock Cranberries yang berjudul Zombie. Lagu Zombie ini ditulis sesuai dengan 1993 IRA pemboman di Warrington , dan untuk mengenang dua korban muda, Johnathan Ball dan Tim Parry.

Cranberries merilis lagu ini pada September 1994 sebagai single utama dari album studio mereka, No Need to Argue. Lirik lagu Zombie sendiri ditulis oleh vokalis band Dolores O’Riordan.

Tak hanya memenangkan penghargaan lagu terbaik, lagu Zombie ini mencapai no. 1 di tangga lagu beberapa Negara. Kenapa sih Zombie? Apa maknanya? lagu ini sebenarnya ingin bercerita soal masalah kemanusiaan di Irlandia Utara yang dikenal sebagai “The Troubles”.

Bagian awal dari lagu ini ingin menunjukkan semacam rasa penyesalan atau rasa terhina atas perbuatan para pelaku The Troubles dalam menghilangkan nyawa orang lain. Gila banget kan guys?
