Band yang dibentuk pada tahun 1985 ini terdiri dari 5 orang personil di dalamnya yaitu Axl Rose (vokalis), Salsh (gitaris utama), Izzy Stradlin (gitaris ritem), Duff McKagan (bassis) dna Steven Adler (drummer).
Don’t Cry ini merupakan salah satu single dari album studio ketiga milik Guns N ‘Roses. Album yang bertajuk “Use Your Illusion I” ini dirilis pada 17 september 1991 hari yang sama di mana pada saat itu sedang direkamnya Use Illusion II.
