Lagu ini bercerita tentang ungkapan isi hari sang vokalis sekaligus penulis lagu tersebut yaitu Freddie Mercury. Bohemian mempunyai arti orang yang tidak nyaman di lingkungan sosialnya sedangkan Rhapsody mempunyai arti puisi atau ekspresi seseorang.
